Mike Libben

District Program Administrator

Mike began working with the district in 2004 after spending 10 years as a seed manager for a national seed company.

Wildlife Specialist
 

Joe has been with the district for 18 years as the Wildlife Specialist. He is a Ottawa County native who has a Fish & Wildlife Management degree from Hocking College. Joe oversees working with landowners on wildlife enhancement and management. He also partners with many local, state and national agencies to assist in designing and managing wetlands. In his free time Joe enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors.

Becky Simpson

Environmental Educator/Fiscal Manager

Becky began working with the district in 2011. She is responsible for bringing conservation into the classroom and educating our next generation of land stewards.

Kylie Nissen

District Technician
 

Kylie started with the office in 2021. She grew up in Ottawa County and has an Environmental and Natural Resources degree from Ohio State. After spending 9 years at Davis Besse as a chemist, she wanted to get back to the environmental field. The majority of her time is spent working with farmers and landowners on various H2Ohio and conservation projects.

Jarred Molesky

District Technician

Jarred started as an intern with the CWMA program and quicky excelled at drainage and GIS work. He now works  on drainage and ditch projects, and helps landowners with conservation programs.

Jason Laubacher

District Technician

Jason was a district intern and has brought his engineering degree to use with drainage designs and project supervision.

Emma Jahns

NRCS Soil Conservationist

Emma started with USDA in July 2023. She grew up on a local dairy farm and is excited to work with Ottawa and East Lucas producers.

Olivia Rahm

Administrative Assistant/Outreach Coordinator

Olivia is our newest employee starting in January 2025. She is eager to assist where needed and grow the soil & water community!

Clint Geldine

NRCS District Conservationist

Clint is the USDA liason for Ottawa and Eastern Lucas Counties. His goal is to work with local producers to address resource concerns that benefit their farm and community.

Sarah St. John

NRCS Soil Conservation Technician

Sarah started with NRCS in December 2024. Before joining the NRCS team, she worked in Wood County as the H2Ohio Technician with Soil and Water, and the CRP Technician with FSA before that. She's grateful for the opportunity to continue helping producers with resouce concerns and conservation closer to home!
