Great for landscapes, colors range from slightly blue-green to marvelous blue. Tolerate to  a wide range of soil conditions, grows to  an average height of 80 feet.

Norway Spruce 

A wonderful windbreak plant, this dense evergreen has short dark green, flat needles. Will grow in most Ohio soils except water soaked. Reaches an average height of 50-60 feet.

This is a high-branching tree with a straight, slender trunk. It’s a sturdy tree and has a narrow, oblong crown. The nuts are large and sweet. The tree will bear nuts in 10-12 years.

Green Rocket Hybrid Cedar 

It has soft foliage and can tolerate drought and most soil conditions. It is also white tail deer resistant. This hybrid can grow 3 feet a year reaching a width of 6-10’ and 25’ tall.

Tulip Poplar

This large shade tree can grow up to 80’ tall and 40’ wide. It prefers full sun in deep, rich, moist soil that at times can be wet. This tree is able to get quickly established and grow fast!

A red tinge can be found in its flowers, twigs, and seeds, but it is most notable for the scarlet of its leaves in fall. Red maple needs plenty of room for its dense, spreading root system.

A grand, stately shade tree, great for a larger site. It has broad green leaves but is most recognizable by its peeling bark, with patches of white and gray. Mature trees can be  75’-100’ tall and 50’-70’ wide.

Used for privacy screens, windbreaks, soil conservation, erosion control and landscaping.  These trees are hardy and disease resistant. Skyrise will grow to 50’ tall and 20’ wide. *Sold in a pack.

The stately bur oak, native to the Midwest, is a great choice as a shade tree. Its massive trunk has gray- brown furrowed bark and its branches bear dark green leaves. Large acorns with fringed caps attract birds  and small mammals.

This tree provides food for many kinds of birds, including permanent and migratory species. It is also a great honey tree.  It is one of the first trees to show fall color. By October, the tree is quite colorful and its leaves are beginning to fall.

These seedlings will grow on a variety of soils, from rich, well-drained, flat soils to rolling clay soils with good surface drainage.  Dark green leaves in the summer turn a showy red in the fall.
